I haven t wriiten on that blog for ages, but fortunately Jess did keep you updated with what s going on in our lifes!!! ( not that anyone cares about our so not exciting life)... This week end i went up to Brisbane to see my John and it was pretty cool... On sunday we went to see Silverchair and that was the best performance ever!!! I waved at Daniel Johns during the whole thing but for some reason he did not seem to see me ( even though i was the only freak screaming my lungs out!!!)... Mental note to myself: * do not make a bum of yourself in a concert anymore* . Anyway they re playing in Melbourne on the 8 of April, but unfortunately it s sold out.... Oh well i guess Jess and I will have to go shopping to make up for the fact that we ll never meet Orlando and Daniel ( which is a pretty good excuse to spend our money in a shopping center)... I stopped watching the news 2 days ago cause Bush makes me sick... Being a good French , my anti-Americanism is growing stronger ( or should i say the American government!!!).... I can t wait to find out if Iraq does really have chemical weapons and IF NOT i can t wait to see BUSH looking like the biggest idiot and murderer in all time ( he already looks and sounds like a bum anyway)... Uni is pretty boring at the moment , nothing much is happening except that there s a pub crawl tonight to which i cannot go cause i have a f***ing Japanese and Italian exams 2morrow!!!
Anyway i should go for now.... If any of you know someone who sells 2 tickets for the Silverchair tickets please let me know... and if anyone understands what is going on for "current issues/socu1038", please call us cause jess and I are lost!!!
See u pple laterXXX Joh

Ooohhhh! Two entries in a month. Hmmm what has been happening... I'm trying to decide what to do for my internship and what to do next year. Should I study or work? I have no idea. I thought about doing teaching. Or maybe doing some sort of post grad course involving journalism or PR or fuck knows! Too confusing. But unfortunately we have to start thinking about these things. School - my god there's so much work to do. Work - now have cool job at call centre and so a regular source of income. Social life - going out on a semi-regular basis but must make more of an effort to catch up with people. Sad, depressing news - Orlando Bloom isn't going to the Ned Kelly premiere so there's no point going to it. Its actually tonight. Apparently the bastard had "movie commitments". Was very pissed off and toyed with the idea of finishing my obsession with him, until I got the LOTR special edition boxed set from my mum as a bday present and it had commentary by the cast featuring Orlando Bloom. All faith has been restored. xx Jess

Another month, another entry. Very slack. Hmm what has been happening??? Have started back at uni, classes are okay, mostly languages this year. Am trying to organise internship but having problems cos have no idea what I want to do. Last Friday night, Debbie, Jo and I went to The Loft. The music sorta sucked. Badly. The DJ was crap and the place was packed with bogans, yet we still managed to dance.
Anyhoo, got sick of Loft so we walked down to Flinders Lane where it was packed with morons and sleazy people. Debbie suggested going to De Biers an establishment I had never heard of. So we went. It was packed. With guys. 90% disgusting sleazy guys. It was sorta scary and funny, with all these guys approaching Debbie and Jo trying to use their best lines on them. Took pleasure in telling one guy to fuck off three times because he wouldn't leave us alone. I think guys should know - pickup lines only work on the young, gullible or the naive. This guy came up to me and said, "Excuse me, would you happen to have a couch I can sleep on?" Cheesy smile. Simple answer, "No. Try that guy". Then walked up to another girl. I suppose some of the guys were nice, but I'm just not interested. And no am not a lesbian. Its just I've just developed a new set of standards. Its Orlando Bloom or nothing. (For the uninformed - Orlando Bloom played Legolas in Lord of the Rings and will soon be seen in Ned Kelly. Check the Orlando Bloom Online Shrine for more details) Ohh and I might have a job soon interview on Tuesday wish me luck. xx Jess.
