Oh I'm so sad. Have just looked through the dead, disused, discarded blogs of our blogging circle. HOW CRUEL! I'm going to start a protest - save the blogs! don't mistreat your blog! humane euthanasia for blogs! I'm seriously thinking of reporting some of you. Its a shame. Anyway, let me see. So far have just been going to classes and such. Trying to avoid doing RMIT homework, especially literature review (I even started a blog for my information. jessliterature.blogspot.com don't visit it its really boring). How the hell am I going to do the budget. I really have to finish this year. I really want to graduate.
Teaching is fantastic. I love it. Anyway, its time for more random things I've noticed;
- Louis Vuitton rip-off items are huge here. But I won't indulge due to lack of funds
- Really I should of taken a Korean class. Last night I said to the subway ticket man "Please Hug Me" when I meant to say "One ticket, please". No wonder he gave me strange looks.
- I'm addicted to Mandu, which are like Japanese Gyoza.
- Went to Dongdaemeun which is a huge shopping complex. Like a street full of high rise shopping towers. scary
- Korean drunk men are much better than Australian drunks who get loud and violent. Korean men just have dreamy smiles on their faces and sway to and fro on the subway.
- Some of the other foreigners here are a bit WEIRD...
- SOJU I could write a book on this marvellous drink. SO FUCKING CHEAP and tastes much like vodka.
- My favourite song at the moment, is "10 Minutes" by Lee Hyo Lee. She's the Korean version of J.Lo and her song refers to it taking 10 minutes for her to get a guy into bed. Ohh scandalous.
That's all kids. Not very exciting I know.

Annyong Haseyo. I'm at the same crappy computer room, listening to Travis (their debut CD "Good Feeling" much better then some of their recent shite) Yikes just realised how bad English my was last post ;). I should have said, "Though they have misguided notions that England is going to win the Rugby World Cup" Anyway enough of that. So far I've just been doing the same thing. But this week there are mid-terms so I've been doing NOTHING! Oh school work I suppose. But can't do it longer then one hour at a time because I feel physically ill everytime i realise how much school work this is to do so I can graduate.
I meet up with my friend Julie who I meet in America, hadn't seen her for nearly two years. It was great to catch up. We went to Gyeongbukgong palace so beautiful. Been helping some students study for their English tests. Besides that nothing interesting. WAIT! No the best thing happened! The TV is now working. Omigod it is heaven. 67 channels of mostly crap! Yes it is bliss. Anyway gotta go! bye bye

Bonjour to all! Just at the internet room at Induk and though that I'd update again! Yeah! So exciting! Not really. Does anyone even read this? Oh well. This fucking chair is uncomfortable. I can't lean back on it.
Over the last two days, I've been doing my assistant teaching. Not really assisting more observing but its really good. The students are all really nice but they get so embarassed if you ask them questions. Though they don't mind asking me questions, "Do you have a boyfriend?" (why yes, his name is Orlando Bloom) "What are your first impressions of Korea?" "What is RMIT like?" (How to be diplomatic...fucked? No... unorganised? No... very different?? Yeah that'll do) Been chatting with my Japanese roommates in Korean/Chinese/Japanese/English hybrid. Have created new language methinks. I have been eating an array of delicious and interesting foods. Pork backbone anyone? (Very nice). I've meet some of the other teachers who are all very nice and friendly. Though they have misguided notion that English is going to win the Rugby World Cup! Ha! Anyway, must dash. Hope all is well with you all. xx Jess.

hi all, just thought I'd update the old blog. Yep I'm in Korea its fucking cool. So busy and right now I'm in an internet cafe or PC-bang as its called in Korean, smoking my lungs out. Can't do that at Kay House! I don't really know where to start. So I'll just say some things that I've noticed ~
- The subway system is clean, cheap, safe and very organised. Almost everything is in English, Japenese and of course Korean. There are funny advertisements on the trains to. "Join our Internet Provider. You can search for such things as Computer, Music, Napster and Viagra"
- There are many cute Korean guys but all of them are taken in that most people here have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Even saw Orlando look-alike!
- The food is serving usually luke-warm. Ate bibambap - rice, chilli sauce, vegies. It was weird but tasted quite nice.
- The two Japanese girls I am living with don't speak any English. So I talk to them in Japanese or Korean, and sometimes English. Or not at all. Lots of gesturing and writing down things down in Korean.
- People are very friendly and nice. The ticket seller at Wolgye station laughed at me because my Korean was so crap. I bought a ticket and said, "Gamsa Hamnida" and he replied "Thank you have a nice day in Seoul." The bastard spoke English!
- The bathroom is fucking unreal. The shower is actually attached to the wall and when you have shower the whole bathroom gets wet. The drain is in the middle of the floor.
- Prices are comparable to here - maybe a bit dearer on some things. Food is cheap I suppose. All drinks come in cans like the ones Red Bull and "V" come in. Usually they are one dollar.
- There was guy in Myeong-Dong who was trying to drum up business for some sort of Western-style restaurant. He was dressed up like a cowboy, he spotted me and said 'Hey you Cowboy come to restaurant. Be good cowboy" of course everyone turned and stared.
- Everyone is dressed very nicely in designer labels. And here's me in my target and kmart. All girls have a least one piece of fake Louis Vuitton.
- Some guys walk around with hand bags. Seriously.

I really love it here! Tomorrow I start my actual internship.
