Wow I am so bored. Last Saturday I ate Korean food at Paige's house - it was sooooo nice. And then went to Nick and Henry's party where I drank far to much and threw up many times. Nice, huh? Besides that I feel that I"m living in a ghost house. Because Mel works different hours we never see each other (which isn't that bad) and Mardi has gone to Lorne. For Schoolies. Bizarre.
So now I suppose I'll make my way to hell, I mean work and be absolutely stinking bored their for nine hours. Yikes! And then I'll go home and put my washing on the line at 11.30 at night and then see what shit is on TV. Then I'll wake up tomorrow and do the whole thing again. I HATE ROUTINE. It sux. Oh I might go and see my mum this weekend in Myrt. That will be fun because she'll buy me nice things! I think all that alcohol has ruined my brain. Better go. Jess

Yes another day, another posting about my oh-so-boring life. At the moment, I've been working almost fulltime (1.00 - 10.00 Monday to Thursday) and doing my homework/essays in the mornings and on the weekends. I HAVE NO LIFE! Yes its true. At least I have some money now. Oh I love pay day! I nearly cried when I read my bank statement - hooray I can pay rent! Geez what an interesting life I do live. Work is okay is guess just very busy and a little stressful at the moment because everyone who rings the Call Centre is COMPLAINING! So most of the time I don't turn my phone on and just concentrate on my other work. My eyes are so fucked up though cos I just stare at a computer all day like some fucking internet hacker/nerd. I reckon I'll need big coke-bottle glasses by the time i"m through there. Speaking of which fulltime only lasts until the end of December so who knows what will happen after that? Maybe I'll get fired again. Oh well.
Tomorrow is Nick Walsh's party and I have to go for two reasons - to give Nick his present from Cindy and to hear Bob Sinclair which Jo promises me Henry will play. I've got the biggest craving for Korean food at the moment. I really miss Korea. I even miss the packed subways and the constant staring, and little kids pointing at me yelling, "WAYGAEKIN! WAYGAEKIN!" Which I think means FOREIGNER! FOREIGNER! and also the music - which is funny cos at first I hated it. Anyway enough procrastinating back to the bloody Lit. Review. Hey did I tell everyone i made a blog for my literature review - further evidence of procrastination. its
jessliterature.blogspot.com Okay I really have to go. Oh I did finish my field study - YEAH! xx Jess. P.S. The field study is the biggest piece of crap that i've ever written in my life and I'm almost embarassed to put my name on it it is so WANKY.

SO am back in Melbourne... yes. It was very sad to leave Korea. I arrived back on Wednesday at 11.00. It was such a let down to be back I even got into a fight with the Customs people. They were convinced that my Korean fusion candies where ILLEGAL. I said, "They're just fusion food - chocolate centre, rice marshmallow and dusted in coconut." "Yes, well there are some sweets that aren't permitted in Australia." "Look, do you want me to eat one now in front of you." "No that's not necessary, but I want my supervisor to have a look at these." GRRRRR! You think they would of been more concerned about the extra packets of ciggies I had stashed in my bag. But no...
Anywho, I worked Wednesday night and it was hell. Then again Thursday. Yesterday I helped Sunyong move house, it was quite funny. Even though I nearly killed her and Manami and Manami's friend. My driving is ssoooo badddd. Then went to Mel's party which was really fun. Played scrabble for the first time, and looked at Mellie's photos. I love looking at people's photos! The funniest were of Mel in London and Mel in China when she was15. He he he :) I finished my internship stuff and am starting the field study. So only current issues crap and field study to finish. Yee haw! Then I can graduate... YEAHHHH!!!! xx Jess.

Its my last full day in Korea... Ohhh so saddddd!!!! Today is my last visit to my favourite PC bang too. Its called bug.net by the way. Quite apt name, because I think its the only place in Korea that isn't infested with Mosquitos at the moment. I'll miss the crappy music and ultra loud computer games the other customers play. Yesterday I went to Scott's house (one of the other teachers houses) and meet his wife Mi-Ra and their beautiful newborn daughter. She's so CUTE! It was really fun. Last Saturday night I went to Itaewon with Bruce another teacher and we meet up with Isaku (the japanese teacher here), Anaco (his wife can't spell her name!) and Emily a former Induk teacher. Itaewon is the home of the US army base so the place was packed with GIs. They're pretty immature, though good eye candy. All very fit...and tanned...and some good-lookin... Enough I'm drooling. We went to a bar called Heaven and it was decked out like Hell! For Halloween of course, tried Korean beer. And it tasted like .. Beer! Anaco and I were chatting in Korean/Japanese/English hybrid and she is the nicest person I've meet so far. Felt guilty for secretly fanatising about her husband who is GORGEOUS! Itaewon was pretty weird felt like Little America, or Americatown.
I meet Paige's parents and brother for lunch - they are so fantastic! Lunch was delicious and they gave me unbelievable pressies! HANDBAGS! My obsession! I also went to Sinchon on Friday which is like a uni area of Korea. It was fantastic area! Really fun. I meet up with Cindy and Julie, Cindy I haven't seen for two years. We meet in America, its cool cos her English is fluent now, and she's planning on doing a degree at the Uni of QLD. Told her to go for it!
Nori's family came over from Japan and gave her four bags full of Japanese food, she's really happy! Chie went to a wedding on the weekend so she's really happy too. Don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. Maybe eat ice-cream and pack my bag, no easy feat since I've got so many HANDBAGS! Oh I'll go shopping.
I'm really annoyed wih myself cos Ibough these postcards wrote and them and didn't send them. What an idiot.
ohhh tomorrow is my last day. Okay I'd better go cos this is costing me money. Okay to sum up Korea - it has been fantastic, the best time of my life and I really want to come back one day. if not for the food, then for the friendly people :) See you all soon, xx Jess.
