Hello everyone, gee its been awhile since I updated but things have been pretty busy. Let me think of recent highlights
- wandering around the red light district by myself absolutely smashed, at 5am with only 20,000 won in my pocket. Got a taxi back home but had to stop and walk for about 30 mins since ran out of money. Let my diary in the taxi so they rang my coworker (since I had her biz card in there) at 6am to say I'd lost it.
- found out how to get on the roof of apartment building so am busy planning party there. 16 floors cool ness.
- climbed Soraksan mountain in running shoes, when definitely should have worn hiking boots. Was v. cool
- Went to dongdameun to go shopping with Craig, only bought a basketball. I really hated how all the arabs were staring at me. It doesn't bother me when Koreans do it, but these Arab men were really sleazy and suggestive. Oh, also saw live turtle for sale. Not little ones, the big motherfuckas, that are obviously going to end up in someone's cooking pot.
- picked up another Canadian guy
- celebrated three of my kids birthday parties, was so much fun. They are soooo cute, took lots of photos. Found out its only $6 to develop film and $2 for film. Coolies, will take lots of photos.
- went to Hongdae last Friday and meet this American chick, French guy who couldn't speak English but could speak Korean and various other individuals. The club was sooo packed about 1500 people there and only one entry/exit. Was a fucking fire hazard.
- went on field trip with my kindy kids where we saw the botanical gardens and had numerous photos taken. Was a gorgeous day.
- am writing 65 reports at the moment. So I'd better get back to work. xx Jess.

And so another weekend passed in an alcohol haze!! The drinking never stops. Have been feeling a little bit negative lately. I little homesick. Miss my mum like crazy! And I'm really annoyed that some of my oldest friends have written to me, but shit that's life and I suppose you just move one. As the years gone by I'm beginning to think that I'm a really cold person or something because nothing really bothers me that much. Like Johanna and Debbie becoming private and not speaking to me (which I might add, I have no idea why), that really does not bother me all that much now. Because I have my own life and they have there's -though I'm pretty sure that mine is definitely more EXCITING and FABULOUS. For example, on Saturday night I went out with a group of 20 foreignors (I was one of two girls - and the other girl was a bitch). We ended up at a all you can eat and drink (including alcohol) restaurant. Proceeded to Hongdae. Gotten even more pissed. And did some thing that I may or may not live to regret later. More details later. Though it was an enjoyable experience *hint* *hint* :) ;) xx Jess.

Well another crazy weekend has passed in an alcohol-haze. On Friday night I had a work function, which was an excuse to get really drunk on the company's money. It started with dinner at a Kalbi restaurant where numerous beers and soju were drunken. Jasmine (a co-worker) and I were doing shots of soju (an alcohol similar to vodka) which ended badly with her throwing up in the toilets at the noraebang (karoke place). After dinner we went to Karaoke where we consumed 60 cans of beer. Apparently I made an ass of myself which is not unusual. At several times I did yell out "Sanggye!" and "Jana you rule!" (That's my boss). Though I did not fall over while dancing (my roommate did) or sing 50 cent's In Da Club. Though I did sing Hyo Lee song called 10 minutes right in front of the manager. I though it would impress her because its all pretty much in Korean, though it was only later I recalled the song refers to being able to get a guy into bed in 10 minutes. Plan might have backfired. Saturday I absolutely have no recollection of. Think I got slightly drunk again. Oh yeah and lit fireworks from the apartment with Craig (roommate). Sunday night got really wasted, and ended up at the dreaded Dragon bar (lame foreigners bar) though I don't really remember much except eating BBQ chicken on the way home. Yesterday was a public holiday so I went to Yongsan and then to Myeong-Dong. Think I might have throat infection. God I can't believe how much I've been sick lately it really does suck. Tomorrow jana is going to observe my classes and I'm a little bit worried about it because in my kindy class there's one boy who's being a right little shit and I'm having a hard time controlling him. It is so hard to inforce discipline when you don't speak the same language ok! Though I have learnt a fair bit since I arrived. Bangchigema - you're a liar Michen nom - Crazy man xx Jess
